I have walked a mile in your shoes…in fact…I have walked a few. I used to be at a place in my life where I was overweight, tired, overwhelmed, feeling like I was not living up to my potential and ready to settle for “this is just the way it is”. However, all that changed and now I am on a mission to empower busy women and I want to help you to take control of your health, your life success and satisfaction, your happiness, your relationships and your leadership ability (personal and/or professional) so you can achieve true fulfillment in your life.
I don’t want you to settle…I want you to thrive. I am here to guide you as you confront limiting beliefs, break old habits, create new habits and achieve results that are bigger and better than you imagined they could be. Women who are busy professionally and personally, who work with me, transform and gain the confidence they have been longing for…and they live bigger and better lives because of it. You can too!
Having been in leadership and executive roles in both the non-profit and corporate world, I know firsthand about the demands of management, leadership and feeling like there is never enough time in the day to get everything done. While focusing so intently on my professional success, my health and wellness were left behind. I rarely liked the way I looked in the morning when I got dressed. I was not eating as healthy as I should, not exercising as much as I should (and by this I mean rarely exercising), not sleeping as much as I should, not spending enough time with my husband, friends and family the way I wanted and both my body and my emotional health paid the price. Bottom line…I lost energy, lacked overall life fulfillment and gained stress and weight. I did not feel good much of the time and I was not as fun as I used to be. To say that I was in a rut would be an understatement. Can you relate to any of this?
LIFE CONTINUED TO BE BUSY AND IT SEEMED THERE WAS NEVER A “GOOD” TIME TO FOCUS ON MYSELF. I COULD NOT SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL…SO I LIT THAT BITCH UP MYSELF! YUP…YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY!
I DECIDED ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH AND THAT SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE. NOT TOMORROW, NOT NEXT MONDAY OR NEXT YEAR…I DECIDED IT NEEDED TO START TO CHANGE AT THAT VERY MOMENT. HOW COULD I BE SO SMART AND SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONALLY YET NOT BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE WHAT IN MY PERSONAL LIFE I WANTED IN TERMS OF MY WELLNESS AND OVERALL LIFE SATISFACTION?
I dug in deep…and when I say deep, I mean really deep. I took courses, I listened to Podcasts, I read personal development and health related books…and I was relentless. I studied over 100 dietary theories in a year long nutrition program and also became a certified health coach. I knew I wanted more and wanted to feel better and happier.
I took all my experience and what I learned over the course of hundreds, if not thousands of hours, and one by one I began to make changes in my lifestyle. I figured out what worked and what didn’t work for me. I shifted my mindset and tackled limiting beliefs, created healthy habits, increased my productivity, lost weight, improved my overall eating habits by learning which foods are best for my body, began exercising regularly (despite having a history of not enjoying exercise at all) and improved my sleep habits.
I learned how create a daily structure that allows me to engage in the things that energize me and bring me joy on a regular basis. I now set goals and achieving them consistently. I am more focused and productive than ever before. Changing my mindset and learning how to create daily habits that support my dreams and goals was critical to all the changes I made, and both continue to be critical to reaching each new achievement in my life.
I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT, ENERGIZED AND ALIVE. I KEEP GROWING AND PUSHING TO BE A BETTER VERSION OF MYSELF EVERY SINGLE DAY...AND IT FEELS GREAT!
One of the things that makes me feel alive, is being able to share my experience, tips and specific strategies with women who are looking to take control of their health, weight, happiness, relationships and overall life success. I combine my personal experience with my expertise and certifications as a Motivation Expert, Health Coach and Life Coach, with my twenty plus years of experience as a mental health therapist to support clients in moving forward, even during the most challenging of times. I know that knowledge alone will not result in lasting change which is why all my programs address mindset and emotional blocks which are critical to goal achievement. If it were easy, we would have already reached all our goals, right?

For fun, I like to talk about travel too! For so long, I did not take the vacations of my dreams because I thought I did not have the time to really plan them…or have the money to spend…or have the time to get away. Finally, I acknowledged how important travel is to me, that I wanted to see the world and most importantly, I realized that I could make anything happen with the right mindset. It has been a game changer for me and taking amazing vacations excites and energizes me throughout the year! I hope it inspires you to think about how you are taking time throughout the year for fun, adventure and/or relaxation and reflection.
